Comprehensive First Aid Training for the Workplace
The First Aid at Work Level 3 – 3 Day Course provides comprehensive training for those who need to become qualified first aiders within the workplace. Where an employer's first aid needs assessment identifies the requirement for qualified first aid personnel, this course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to respond effectively.
Delivered over three days, the course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, helping participants develop the confidence to respond in a prompt, safe and effective way. The qualification meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.
What You'll Learn

Assessment, Certification & Course Delivery
Practical assessment takes place throughout each day of the course and is carried out by the instructor, alongside a written assessment each day. Subject to successful assessment, learners will receive a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, equivalent to Level 6 in Scotland.
The qualification is valid for three years. To renew the qualification, learners will need to complete the appropriate First Aid at Work requalification course. PTE Skills also recommends attending annual refresher training during the three-year certification period.
The course can accommodate a maximum of 12 learners, with participants required to be at least 14 years old. PTE Skills can also deliver the course at your premises, subject to a pre-course assessment, helping organisations reduce travelling and additional time away from the workplace.
