Essential First Aid Skills for the Workplace
The Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 – 1 Day Course is designed to provide learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively to first aid situations in the workplace.
The course covers the learning outcomes required for the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, including Basic Life Support and a range of common first aid situations. It provides learners with the confidence and understanding needed to assess an incident, respond appropriately and provide essential first aid until further assistance is available.

Assessment, Certification & Course Delivery
Assessment is carried out throughout the course by the instructor and includes a multiple-choice question paper. Subject to successful assessment, learners will receive a qualification valid for three years.
The course can accommodate a maximum of 12 learners, who must be at least 14 years old. Learners under the age of 16 can achieve the certificate but cannot assume responsibility within the workplace until they reach 16, at which point it is the employer's responsibility to determine their suitability for the role.
PTE Skills can deliver the course at your premises, subject to a pre-course assessment. On-site training can help reduce travelling and additional time away from the workplace, with training arranged at a time and date to suit your organisation. Corporate rate discounts may also be available where multiple courses are required.
