Level 3 Activity First Aid (2 Day Course)
Activity First Aid Level 3
The Level 3 Activity First Aid course is a comprehensive two-day qualification designed for anyone involved in activities such as sport, leisure and recreation.
Made up of two units, including First Aid Essentials, the course covers Basic Life Support alongside a wide range of common first aid conditions, giving learners the practical knowledge required to respond confidently when an incident occurs.
Day one of the course covers the learning outcomes of the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), providing learners with a strong foundation before progressing into the additional subjects covered during the full two-day qualification.
What Does the Course Cover?
Throughout the two-day course, learners will cover a broad range of first aid situations, from assessing an incident and performing resuscitation to responding to injuries and medical emergencies.

Assessment, Certification & Course Delivery
Assessment takes place throughout the course by the instructor and includes a multiple-choice question paper. Subject to successful assessment, learners will receive a qualification valid for three years.
Courses are limited to a maximum of 12 learners, with a minimum learner age of 14. Learners under 16 can achieve the certificate, but cannot assume responsibility within the workplace until they reach the age of 16. At that point, it is the employer's responsibility to determine whether they are suitable for the role.
PTE Skills can also deliver the course at your premises, subject to a pre-course assessment. This can help businesses reduce travelling and additional time away from the workplace. Training can be arranged at a date and time to suit your organisation, with corporate rate discounts available where multiple courses are required
